Are your patterns available individually? I do not have a website but I LOVE your messenger bag. Would love the pattern. Please let me know if it is available on an individual basis… Thanks so much! Please keep creating. Your designs are fabulous..

Thanks, Pam

I was wondering if your Jack and Jill hat pattern was available to purchase as a PDF file. We are travelling to Cuba is 2 weeks and I would love to make hats for my kids but I don’t think the pattern would mail here in time. I absolutly love this hat. Thanks

I am interested in purchasing the Macy Giggles sundress to sew for my grand-daughters. I live in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area (Hudsonville). Could you tell me where I might purchase this pattern? Thanks, Peggy

Do you have more pictures of the pattern Ruthie’s Romper? Is it smocked on top? What does the back look like? Thank you. Jody Reed

Looking for a few more pics that I can upload. I know that there are some on our Izzy & Ivy flickr group.
The top is shirred with elastic thread (easiest smocking method ever!) Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks! Jana

Hi, I just received your pattern for the Beverly Belle Top. I’m going to make one for my three grand daughters. I have a couple questions about the instructions. When I cut out the pieces A and B,. do I lay the pattern down in the same direction for all pieces to be cut? Also, I’m kind of confused on where the sewing line begins and ends, could you help please?

Thank you, Doreen Sabbagh

Hi Doreen!

When you cut out Beverly, you must cut them out one at a time. Just make sure you are on grain when you cut them. After you pin the pieces together, you will start sewing at the top and all the way around down the fishhook. I have made several of these tops and not once have my pieces met that notch, I have recommended to the designer that they are removed. Until then, if you don’t match up at the notch, don’t worry about it, just trim it off when you are done piecing the top. Don’t worry, that will make sense when you are all done. Also, the last top I made I shirred (elastic thread) the lower bodice casing and it was SO much faster and really cute! Just remember that when you are putting a convex and concave curve together you are going to have to pin, pin, pin. Don’t try to serge the seams, just pink them and topstitch them down. I hope I’ve helped and don’t hesitate to email with questions.

Thank you Shasta, I’m still a little confused. would you be able to send a picture of the areas you’re talking about or do you have a tutorial showing how they are pieced together?

Thank you, Doreen

Saw the Little Vicki Dress on The Mother Huddle news letter today. Instantly, I thought of my little granddaughter. She will be 3 in October and this little dress brought happy thoughts of her. I have been missing her a lot since they moved to Boston (suburb) in March. When I see cute little girl things, I smile with thoughts of her. This little dress brought that reaction. So cute, so little girl.

I too had never seen that procedure to sewing a shank button on. Guess I have lived a sheltered life………..or ??

Shaasta……I just finished the Petunia Bag. I can’t wait to wear it around my quilting buddies. Last week I made the Penelope Ruffles bag. I took your suggestion about not over thinking the patterns. I just had fun with them and everything sewed together well. I am sure I will be making a few more as well. thanks again, Audrey

the Beverly Belle Top Pattern pattern. Unable to follow the instructions,- no strap pattern. no measurements to tell you how to cut them out. Does not tell you where to place the straps. What does RST & WST mean?
I would love to make this top, but I will have to use my imagination to figure know to complete the pattern

There are cutting instructions in the booklet for straps, there is a section telling you how to put in straps. Our patterns are designed to be sold in quilt shops, thus familiarity with RST…right sides together, WST…wrong sides together and also the use of a rotary mat, cutter and ruler. Please email with any questions, we are here to help.
