Are you like me?
Scrambling on the afternoon of December 24th to make the matching pajamas that your kids will be wearing for Christmas pictures later that evening?Binding Aunt Betsy’s quilt in the car on the way to her house Christmas Day?
It happens every year. Then I have a sister that decides to make all of her friends a quilt for Christmas and starts on December 20th…never fails.
I am determined to be finished before the Holiday’s this year. Stop laughing!! I am serious!
OK. I admit that I have serious problems with procrastination. A girl (insert Old Grey Mare) can change can’t she?
I have a plan. I am going to start sewing my Gifties every Saturday until Thanksgiving and them I should be done!
This week I am working on presents for girls 5 and under. This group is Easy Peasy because they seem to love everything. I have chosen to make a carry along doll house. I used the basic pattern found here with a few changes.
My little house is still in 10 pieces because I need a few supplies like elastics and peltex. I can’t wait to show it off later this week.
Here are some links to a few more ideas for little girls-
Cute little felt doll
Fluffy* Stuffy bunny and Dress from Allsorts
Felt Crown pattern from Juicy Bits
or the old stand by gift at my house-
(pattern found at Quilt stores or Online)
Do you have more ideas? Please leave a comment or a link! I would love to add to the list.
Happy Christmas Sewing! XOXO Jana

I’m just curious to WHAT sister you
were referring to. I would never do anything like
that. I would have a least started by Dec 15th.
I LOVE that doll house! Thanks so much for sharing- I love seeing your ideas!
